Egybiotech for research and biotechnology is a recently established private research company with a broad research portfolio in the areas of cancer research, medical biotechnology, genetic epidemiology, clinical trials, psychosocial research and quality of life, as well as capacity building projects in research education and training.

Egybiotech was established in August 2012 as a private research organization working primarily in the area of health research with focus on biotechnology research applications. Besides conducting commissioned research projects and conducting research training workshops, our main interest is to develop our own biotech products; and conduct our own research programs. We have a broad research portfolio in various areas of cancer research, health service evaluation, and research at the interface of health and social science. The main focus is to produce, validate and patent molecular diagnostics based on multi-gene assays capable of predicting incidence or outcome of disease or treatment.

Egybiotech is committed to comply with the EU directive for research in all aspects of research governance and maintains rigorous standards of scientific integrity and protection of intellectual property.

Egybiotech was established in an attempt to prove our belief that Research is no longer a luxury for the developing world, but is in fact a necessary and fundamental solution to the varied and complicated problems which exist in such countries.

Our goal does not stop at developing neotherapeutics to improve quality of life, but stretches to polarize the private sector contribution to scientific society development.
